The Kewanee Police Department Investigation Division is comprised of four (4) officers who serve in various investigation capacities. The Investigation Division is currently divided into general investigations, Street Crimes Unit  and the Black Hawk Area Task Force. General assignment is comprised of two (2) investigators that are assigned to felony investigations and major cases.  One detective is assigned to work the Black Hawk Area Task Force.  The Investigations Division is supervised by a detective sergeant that also operates as the Street Crimes Unit officer.
